    The Gloucestershire Beards

A very brief tree, but all the more worth mentioning because

  • like the Cambridgeshire Beards tree it illustrates that not all Essex Beards lineages have a particularly old Essex pedigree, and

  • unlike the Cambridgeshire Beards this line may well still be active in Essex today

This family originates in Gloucestershire where Beards are also found in significant numbers. They did not arrive in Essex until the 1880s and as far as is currently known did not move beyond their Great Dunmow base
